This young woman posed prickly questions about Jesus, so her rabbi asked her to leave the synagogue youth group. Her grandpa’s version of “faith” made him grumpy, so she stopped going to his Christian Science meetings. But her grandma’s peace and courage in the face of suffering paved the way for this Jewish woman’s conversion to Christ, entrance into the Catholic Church — and inspiring example of genuine faith in the midst of her own debilitating chronic pain.
